Our space is intimate and classes are run on a first come first serve basis. Although our space is limited, the benefit of this is that it allows us as teachers to give each student the personal attention and hands on approach that we enjoy! We hope to see you soon! ~Namaste
YIN YOGA - This system weaves together the wisdom of Hatha yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Taoist Philosophy and contemporary bodywork. In this class you can expect to hold restorative postures for 5 minutes or longer in meditative stillness and relaxation. The healing effects of this practice take place deep within the connective tissues, the joints, and the subconscious and emotional body; in turn rooting out the deeper layers of restriction stored there.
HATHA - This class includes
pranayama, asana and mantra to gradually nourish and cleanse body, mind and
spirit. Class ends with aromatherapy and a short neck and scalp massage to seal
in the benefits of the practice before transitioning into the rest of your day or evening.
SLOW FLOW VINYASA - This class takes vinyasa down a notch in order to lay down the foundation of the breath and the alignment of the body. The practice becomes a meditation in movement, guided by the slow balanced rhythm of the breath, and set to uplifting music to support the flow. Classes end with aromatherapy and a short neck and scalp massage to seal in the benefits of the practice before transitioning into the rest of your day.
NEW!5 ELEMENTS FLOW - This 15 week series will focus on one element every three weeks (Water, Wood, Fire, Earth & Metal). The rhythm of the class will reflect the element we are working on. The class will start with a drop of essential oil to enhance the benefits of the practice and to begin to bring balance to that element in the body. The asanas, pranayama & mantra will be therapeutically focused on the organs and emotions that relate to the element we are working on. Each class will end with a short meditation on the element's highest expression when it is in balance eg. wood's highest expression is compassion. Join us through the whole series for an in depth exploration of the five elements within our bodies, or drop in when you can.
KUNDALINI YOGA - This class focuses on the energetic body and freeing energy blockages within the chakras. Kundalini yoga brings asana, pranayama, mantra, and dharana
(focus/concentration) into a powerful style of yoga that will challenge you, and leave you feeling invigorated and alive!
PRIVATE YOGA SESSION (60min - $80/90
min - $120) ~ A private yoga
session can be enlightening for the novice and the advanced yogi alike, whether
it’s to establish yourself with some of the foundational tools of yoga, or to
fine tune your alignment and awareness to move deeper as an experienced yogi.
In a private class you can expect to receive a more hands on
approach including gentle yoga assists, bodywork and massage techniques,
energetic work and aromatherapy, all tailored to your individual goals or
intentions, and working at your unique level of practice. Get into your body
and out of your mind and experience the bliss of yoga!
